Ideas were to mount a fire extinguisher?

I would like to carry a small extinguisher in our 28 touring but cant find a good place. under the seat would be hard to get to if needed, the whole top is off now or maybe I could mount to top irons. not much extra space when carrying passingers. on our T the running board toolbox is perfect spot any ideas?

I have mine under the overhang of th seat in my couple, pit some heavy duty velcro on it, totally out of sight but really easy to get to

Same way I keep mine in the coupe. Handy but not the best looking situation.

On my cars I tie-wrap an old coffee can to the E-brake handle. And fit a fire extinguisher inside it.;) Coffee cans of this size are not out there like they use to be unfortunately. But, if you hunt around you should be able to find one.:)

Mine is under a package on my package rack that I will never mail, just lift it off and PRESTO....and arms length. I switch it out at Christmas for a Christmas gift box I have.

the bracket is bolted to my package rack.

An old saying comes to mind here. No use getting old if you don't get cunning;;)
What a great idea.

I plan on mounting mine in the center under the seat overhang. Not much room in a pickup.

Thanks Tiny...there are other ideas out there if the package rack is where one would want to mount the fire extinguisher and disguise it and still have it readily available.
Biscuit tines, chocolate tins, just cut out the bottom to cover it, a lot of repops items from the 30s are available too. I found the package rack in a Model a perfect to help bring the 30s back into being part of that era.
I'm searching now for other Christmas items to replace my trip to the 1933/34 Worlds Fair in Chicago, to bring home to Mom and Pop from college over the Christmas holidays............. I found an un-used Christmas Camel cigarette carton from the early 30s for pop and ma is already taken care of, need something for sister Sue and my girl, who has been waiting patiently. ;) :D

In my Town Sedan I mounted a 1.40 lb. Halotron extinguisher in front of the front seat to the right of the seat adjuster knob.

In my 31 Tudor sedan it fits in between the 2 front seats. It fits nice and snug. A perfect place. I didn't have to drill any holes. And very easy to get to.:D:D
