Body Model Nomenclature By now I should know this, but don’t!:(
My Parts Price List (7-1-’31) has a table of “Body Models.” Of particular interest to me: I note that the "Commercial" list shows Body Model “76-A Open Cab” and a “78-A Pickup”. So how do I properly refer to my January ‘28 ‘Open Cab Pickup” (early longer bed)?:confused: Sorry ... it's too hot outside to play in the garage, so am doing some research :eek: |

For example, I want to put a sign on the windshield during a local car show ... trying to help inform the public about the vehicle. I know it's nit-picking, but would like to do my part to pass along our hobby. |

Re: Body Model Nomenclature From Henry's lady, all the "standard" pick ups, open and closed used the same bed. In 31 they had More choices and changes. So in your case every 28 pu had the same bed 78A

Re: Body Model Nomenclature Charles,do you have that bed that rides on the subrails that extend out from under the cab?The one that is all by itself and almost no parts fit?
