No Ford had a cowel vent before 1933. Plymouth Pontiac no enough left for ID

Re: I found this in the middle of the desert

While I am waiting for photo to down load. There were cowl vents on the 1924/25 closed cars (coupe, tudor and fordor). For 1926/27 only the fordor had the cowl vent the coupe and tudor had the gas tank under the cowl. I would have to check but I think the later closed TT (ton truck) had cowl vents also. Some of the early fordor Model A's had vents in the side of the cowl.
I could not down load the photos. Could you post them here?

Not Model T. T's did not have that large of a cowl or the bright trim band. The rounded rear roof is also not Model T.

Looks like a Pontiac, about 1930 - 31. Not much there.

Thank you for replying. I was hoping to find a desert Model T - an old romantic idea of mine.

Dude,

That's kind of the idea, but I am not sure if it's worth it. I was hoping it was a Model T, so I could live out an old fantasy of mine by rebuilding one I found in the desert.

Thank you for replying. I was hoping it was a "T," but alas, I'll stumble across one sometime out here.

Thank you for your help. I was looking at a 1931 Pontiac after reading your response, it sure looks similar.

Most definately not a FORD car. Looks like about 1929/30 but can't say what make.

Dash looks a lot like 1928-29 Hudson.

Re: I found this in the middle of the desert

Hudson looks to be the most plausible. Not a Ford, regardless there is a value once you get an ID.
