40 bumper differences?? Is there a difference between 40 pickup and car bumpers and brackets?
Thanks! |
Re: 40 bumper differences?? The front brackets are the same as the '40 Ford V8 (aka "standard").
The rear brackets are quite unique to the pickup. The front bumper of the pickup is identical to the front & rear of any '40 Ford passenger car. The rear bumper on the pickup is unique. |
Re: 40 bumper differences?? if you don't car about having the pickup rear brackets, the passenger car brackets work. I used them on my 41 pickup.

Re: 40 bumper differences?? The 40 (and probably 41) pickup rear bumper bar is the same as 40 Station wagon. The 2 inner bolt holes are closer to the outer end holes and it is flatter then the "normal" 40 bumper bar the is the same front and back for passenger cars.
