50 ford signal canceling cam
 

I have a 50 f1 with the original add in turn signal. I have the signal canceling cam that installs under steering wheel. Any advice on where the two tabs should be positioned in relation to the spokes on the wheel and signal on opposite side of column shift? I would think position would be critical for effective canceling.
