A bit of Whimsy. Trench art radiator ornament.

Yes, I'm the same guy that complains about people whoring up their '28 - 9 Phaeton or Tudor with cowl lights and white walls. That would be me. :o

I put a brandy new pressurized Brassworks Radiator in the '29 Woody. Since the moto meter was rendered useless, this was something I'd considered for a long time. I think it's cool as heck.

Note: One of the landing gear wheels already rattled off, so it's gonna be a rough landing.

i don't understand how you can complain about whitewalls and then put this thing on your car. Is that not a double standard ? Give me the whitewalls any day! Wayne

How much do you pay your security guard annually to protect it from thieves? I'd be up all night worrying about someone with sticky fingers boosting it from it's perch. :-)

That's a US Navy F4U Corsair which became famous in WW2 for shooting down Imperial Japanese aircraft.

Remember a past thread about hooking up a Model T coil on a Model A to discourage theft and unwanted fingers? Here's a perfect place to put that theory into practice! Of course, one had better know a good attorney for the ensuing lawsuit. The guy sitting in the courtroom with the shaking hand will be the would-be radiator cap thief. The law protects criminals and idiots more these days than honest citizens trying to defend their own property and lives. The daily news reports verify this. :(

The woody has to be the worlds most insecure car. No locks. No windows! So removing it and putting it safely inside the car might actually help the thief. Luckily, I live in the middle of nowhere.

As it is, it sticks out over the hood so that makes raising the hood inconvenient. If I decide I can't live without it, I may incorporate it into the moto meter mount and put the hinge up front so the aeroplane can swing forward when the hood goes up. That would mean it would take 2 minutes to steal instead of 1.
