tudor door bumper kit
 

got a door bumper set today there are 4 u shaped rubber grommet's and two u shaped metal clips anybody know where they go on the doors

I can take pics if u still need it when I get home tonight.. They are a PIA to do

They fit into the door then slide on the dovetail when it's shut

two of the rubber pieces fit into metal pockets in the door frame and the metal piece goes in on top of the rubbers. They do take patience to install.Hope the picture makes it, I'm not to good at posting pics. Dennis

Don't scratch the paint putting in the metal pieces

Both Mitch and Dennis are correct, and they are hard to get in. If you cut the center out of the rubber pieces so that they are more of a "C" shape, they will flex more, be easier to get in, and still work fine.
