With much sadness, I have just found out that Brent Terry's father passed away last night. Our deepest condolences to Brent and the entire Terry family. Peace be with during this time. :(

I am sorry for your loss you and I have similar stories about our fathers and our entrance into this hobby. I lost my 94 year old father on the 11 of May I understand your pain and anguish but find. Comfort in the lasting memories of of a close relationship.

I too am sorry for your loss. I know that it is not easy to comprehend life without Dad. I lost my 96 year old Dad earlier this year. While he did not live close to me in his later years, I still find myself wanting to write Dad about what I did with my Model A this weekend, as I had done for the last 6 years. Prayers for you and your family.

I just got off the phone with Brent. He is busy with 'arrangements', but was in relatively good spirits under the circumstances. I knew his dad and can say that he was a fine gentleman, and is now happy in his new home. Peace be with you Brent, Penny, children and relatives.

As many of you know, my Dad was involved in our hobby for many, many years, ...and was even one of the 5 original charter members of the Houston Model-A club back in the mid-1960s. He even retired early in life so that he could devote more time to playing with Model-As. I had the great fortune to be able to turn his hobby into my living, and I was able to work by his side for many years both as an understudy, and later as his employer.

Yesterday I was able to go spend some time with him again, and although he was not able to speak to us, as I walked into his room he looked at me and stuck is hand out to me as if to say "Carry on". Parkinson's disease & a Stroke had taken its toll where he could no longer do what he wanted, ...but I think the shirt he was last wearing truly shows what was important to him. ;) Again, thanks everyone for the texts, phone calls, and the posts!! It means a lot and because of that we are all doing well.

Condolences Brent to you and your family. From our Model A family to yours... we are all truly blessed to have the friendships, family, God given talent, and enjoyment of the Model A's, T's and the people behind them. I miss my Dad every Day but at the same time am thankful for every day I spent with him and all he taught me.

My God Bless your Father, you, and your Family... It has been almost 10 years since I lost my Father --he was an amazing Man who I am still reminded all that I learned from him...
