Bending the fender brace.
 

The front fender on the passenger side has a distance of 4 inches from the top of the tire. The drivers side is about half that, and it constantly rubs on right turns and bumps. I want to bend that bracket up two inches. Should I bend at the headlight mount, or at the bend at the top? Cold bend, or heated up? All other dimensions on the front of the car are identical from left to right, so it's not springs or anything else out of whack. Standing in front of the car, it is pretty obvious the droop is in the fender only.

If it ''fits the fender'' underneath and bolts to it nicely and matches the other side in that regard, then it is bent at the frame end. Bend it up cold slowly and carefully by hand until you have it matching the other fender height.

Well, I can't say it bent smoothly. I ended up putting a little pipe on the end of the brace. I practically had the front tire off the ground before the rod bent. It ended up bending more in the middle, but I guess the goal was met.
