Storage? After pulling the rear seat from my 29, I found what looks like a storage place. Could someone tell me what it was originally used for. I know I should know this, but I don't. This is my daily and it would be a nice place to store some tools and small parts, and maybe even a small jack. I have been driving this car daily since Dec, 2015, about 150 miles a week. Just got around to pulling the rear seat because I thought my screw driver had fallen back there.

Re: Storage? Doesn't matter what if was originally intended fior, use it for whatever you need it for. Wayne

Re: Storage? Under seat storage is good for the various things you spoke of. On a sedan that is about all the space you have. the Model A wasn't built for luggage! Always good to have the things you spoke of a jack and tools for a flat and a couple of other tools for adjustments. When I pulled the seat out of my sedan I found 21" tire chains!

Re: Storage? Thanks for the wisdom guys. It is amazing after lining it out, just how much stuff I was able to put back there. And now I have my rear floor space back

Remember ALL the apparel we bought @ the Surplus Stores? Flight Suits & such, were great in topless Roadsters. We also wore ALL that gear when operating Cotton Picking machines in COLD weather. Bill Warm |
