Transmission Front Seal Kit 1 Attachment(s)
Installed this kit from Snyder's today p/n A-7112-S.
The instructions didn't say you had to be ambidextrous and have long, thin, strong fingers. Best tool combination for the bolts: 3/8" drive 5/8" socket, 3/8 male x 1/4" female adapter, 1/4" drive ratchet. Changed the grease fitting on the t/o bearing to modern type while I was there. |
Re: Transmission Front Seal Kit Good on you if you did that through the inspection cover hole. :)

Re: Transmission Front Seal Kit It is more difficult, but can be done through the inspection cover. I held the bolt with a long handled magnet, and started the threads with my fingers. Worked OK, but was not an easy install.

Re: Transmission Front Seal Kit PATIENCE!
It can be done, just do not rush the job. I did it on my Tudor with out removing the trans top. I did remove the front seats which made life a lot easier. Chris W. |
