Guys, who has the best trans mount available today, mines oil soaked, cracked, and needs replaced. Thanks

I like the vulcanized unit sold by All Ford parts in Campbell CA. Send in your old unit, they'll send you a fresh one. Good luck Paul J.

The village where the maker of the "rear trans support" shown above is from is missing its idiot. Note the impossible position of the notches for the special bolts on the underside, which are straight up and down and across. Envision a torque tube/U-joint cap lining up with those bolt locations.

As the '33-'34 support was designed to be used in both directions (ears forward for a four and ears backward for a V-8), that reproduction can only be used with the ears forward. Obviously they did not use an original as a pattern or they thought that they knew better than Ford did. The irony is that there used to be a reproduction available that was made correctly.

I had to take the V8 rubber ring and mark where the slots were suppose to be and cut the slot out for my 1934 4 cylinder. I think I have some printed instructions some where I could email. [email protected]

This is why I like the units from All Ford Parts, original steels are revulcanized here in the states. Paul J
