Very cool looking piece. I like the radiator adaptation, too.

Looks great! I like the front fenders. Are they made from a spare tire cover?

They're glass, made here in New Zealand. I didn't want to cut up a 35-36 cover because they're getting hard to find.

1928. Trans is F150 O/D, rear is 47 open drive. I built the whole thing from scrounging parts from all over the country (New Zealand). The only work not done by me was welding in patch panels in the door bottoms.
And credits to Bubbas for the ignition, and Charlie NY for rebuilding a carb.

More details on the radiator. What is it??? I like how it fits in the Deuce shell.

RalphM 03-16-2016 04:51 PM

Re: Because y'all like pics....

Not a duece shell, 28-29 shell

Bassman/NZ 03-16-2016 05:31 PM

Re: Because y'all like pics....

28-29 shell, 66-67 Mustang radiator with extra outlets added. Along with Stant thermostats, Drake pumps and well cleaned out water jackets in the block, it never, ever overheats.

Re: Because y'all like pics....

Early mustang radiators are an easier fit to the Model A shell than any I'm aware of. The model A radiators are difficult to do anything with for the dual inlets & outlets.

Great ride! Since no one else asked, when did Kiwi's start saying "y'all"? Let me guess, its because you're from the Deep, really Deep, South?
