Cowl question

I have been stripping my engine cowl and was wondering if I should take it apart? Any suggestions on what would be best to restore it? Thanks

If you mean removing rivets and/or spot welds, I'd say it depends on the amount of rust in the seams.
If they aren't rusted, I'd rather not take out rivets and spot welds.
