35 Header Panel Fasteners Would anyone have pictures of the upper fasteners for the 35 header panel? We got it to fit but looking for where the fasteners go. Also if anyone would have a picture of the speaker mounted that would be great. Thanks Dave/Green Bay

Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners 4 Attachment(s)
Dave, Here are some photos that might help. There are (4) screws across the top og the header panel and (2) that hold the speaker shell in place.

Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners Dave, I can send some pictures to you around March 8th, but don't have them saved in my iPhone or Tablet to send them now.
Update: looks like Don has you covered :) |
Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners Don: Thank you for the pictures. Do the screws that hold the mirror also hold the speaker or are they different? From the pictures it looks like there are 2 on the side?
John: Have fun at the Fordbash and enjoy the Florida weather. Thank you both Dave/Green Bay |
Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners Do the screws that hold the mirror also hold the speaker or are they different? Yes, They are the same
From the pictures it looks like there are 2 on the side? ?? |
Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners Don:
From the picture of the speaker it looks like there are 2 holes on the side, Do those have screws that attach to the header? Thanks Dave |
Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners I believe that those two holes in the speaker shell lineup with the two inner header holes. You use the header screws/cupwashers to hold the speaker enclosure and header in place.
Its been a while!!! |
Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners Don,
Originally, wasn't the finish of the four screws and cup washers above the sun visors Ford's S-15 oxidized (dark bronze) rather than bright plated? |
Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners That's a good question. I haven't found any documentation to argue the point either way for oxidized vs nickel plating. One of my pictures also shows a banjo wheel in a 35 Ford. Thats a NO..NO.

Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners Now Don. You hurt ,my feelings. I have a36 banjo in my 35 PU. LOL
|
Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners I had a 36 banjo in my 35 roadster. It wasn't correct, but it looked great!!!!!!!!!

Re: 35 Header Panel Fasteners Don,
It might be in the Canadian body parts catalogue as unlike the U.S. body parts catalogue it contains at least some fastener information. |
