Caught red handed

So there I am in the kitchen, minding my own business, when suddenly my wife walks in, she says "What are you doing?"
Slowly I say "washing plates"

She looks down into the sink and then deep into my eyes, pause, 3,2,1, "what kind of plates?" she asks.

I say "my front brake backing plates"

She slowly looks back down into the sink, and then back deep into my eyes, she smiles and says "clean the sink when you're done honey" as she leaves the kitchen.

Model A wives...you gotta lovum.

Metal in most microwave ovens will burn out the Magnetron ... if done long enough.

Many moons ago before I was married and roomed with 2 other racer types, we used to wash transmission parts in the bath tub.
At other times, we made booze in the bath tub.

Don't forget to put the flywheel in the freezer.

Re: Caught red handed

but a CD or DVD in the microwave for 3-5 seconds destroys all data and makes a pretty light show. (and you can use the destroyed CD for crafts)

Burner3, you are in trouble and you don't know it.... Your wife now knows you can do dishes. Good luck.

Keith you may want to look at installing a automatic dish washer ! No not in the kitchen but in the garage/shop :-)

I had a friend who always had sparkling wire wheel covers on his buick. He ran them through the dishwasher - only when the wife was at work. I never had the nerve to try this.

Planning to run all my foam hook & loop buffing pads through the wash to get them nice and clean. Good idea?

I thought it would be fun to show these posts to my wife. Wrong! She said don't even think of using anything in the kitchen for anything about the Model A. If you do, I will shut down the Ford Barn AND confiscate your ipad.

Did you know that the intake manifold from an sbc will fit in a dishwasher?
