gas shut off rebuild I'm trying to rebuild the gas shut off from a 1930 model A. Getting the packing out is proving to be quite a challenge. The youtube video shows a 31 which conveniently has a hole that allows the packing to be pushed out from the opposite end. This one has a blind hole and the instructions say to pry out the packing. Any ideas on how to "pry out" the packing?

Re: gas shut off rebuild I've used an awl- carefully prying out the packing so that I didn't scratch the inner brass surface.
