49 car to 50 F1 Steering Wheel Switch
 

Just installed a 49 car steering wheel in my 50 F1. Real pleased with it. Changes the whole looks inside the cab. The center cap color matches the paint on my truck really good. Next will be changing the 4-speed to a 3-speed. I am using a 40 swan neck shifter that I just had chromed which also should help with the inside looks of the truck. I think the flash made it look white. Its really an almond color and goes well with the speaker cover and the gold paint that was put on the truck in 1982

When I first got my F-1, it had the same steering wheel in it. I restored the wheel, except I painted it black and baked it at a dealership I worked for. I ended up selling it as it wasn't stock. Got some good $$ for it. It does look good in the truck.

Ford should have put that in the Deluxe cabs, have you seen the prices on those 4 spoke versions. Wow

You might be able to swap out the steering mast and put turn signals inside the hub. I did that on my 52 f1. Used a mast from 53-55 truck then used a 40 deluxe wheel.
