I have a 29 sedan delvery and I'm thinking about selling it, I have no clue to what they are going for .
I'll try to put up some pics , It's a good body

No here knows a price on this ? I know it hard to say with out seeing it ,
I'm not looking for a price right on the money ,I'm looking for what there
going for in todays market from a pile of shit to a restored car . Some one here
has to know some one who has one for sell or sold one them self . All I'm asking for is
a general price.

I saw a 30/31 sedan delivery at the last Good Guys for sale at 18K. Didn't look to closely at it but it looked nice enough for the price.

When I first brought home my Delivery body which is rougher than yours I was offered $5500 for it. Also had another person offer $3500. Later when I had it on a running chassis with all of the fenders and no title I was offered $12,500. Then the recession happened, so I highly doubt I would be offered that again for quite awhile. Blue Book values for on run from $8,500 to $42,000. Model T Haven had an unrestored 30-31 130-B for sale for $6500 in 2009. Not sure what he actually got out of it. Sorry I can not be of more help, but the prices for these seem to jump all over the place. Rod

As always a vehicles value is only what one is willing to pay on any given day. There are two on ebay 30 and 31 one is 17,900 been on a few weeks and one is buy it now 16,000. Both restored

Marshall, how did you come out on the wood kit? In a previuos e-mail you said you had some pieces that may help me make a pattern for some of the wood. So I was just wondering. Thanks Rod

Marshall, Looking at picture & note the rear spring protudes through the floor?? mine had original wood in floor & was level , no spring sticking through Think your floor is two low, There are pictures in an old restorer showing interior, Cheers

The rear frame in mine is kicked up 2"

Marshall....I agree I dont think the frame is suppose to be stikcking up or of the bed....it does but has a squair pan that goes over it. I have two of these both are 30&31 and that is the way they are. I looked at a 29 that was for sale but was missing some key parts so I passed on it and he wanted around 8 for it but the door latch was misssing and some pans for the inside and the door handle, just to give you a clue. I paid 8 for my 30 and it was complete except the rear door handle. you can go from there..good luck

The body is all stock ford and the frame has been updated a little it has a QC rear end, 39 trans , a 21 stud v8, 32 x member ,40 brakes
I was building a 29 roadster when I started ,than I found the delivery body and put the parts I was going the use on the roadster on the delivery frame . It's all prewar hotrod parts , and now I think the delivery sould go back on a stock because of how rare it is and I'll get a brookville 29 roadster and put it on the hotrod frame .

Still don,t see the reason to kick the rear cross member up . I run & produce qickchange rears & never had too kick the frame higher, What is the reason ?? you can,t slide a box in because it sticks up in the way. Did you make a new cross member. Cheers Derek from a misty cool day.in NZ

He kicked up the frame because he was building a vintage style prewar roadster hotrod and wanted a lower stance. I don't think needing to kick up rear cross member has anything to do with to make the QC fit. More about how low the body will sit.

He said that he switched directions and put the roadster body on the stock delivery chassis, and put the delivery body on his roadster build chassis.

Stock cross member with the frame z'ed 2"at the back to get the car a little lower
