These are for sale on Ebay.co.uk 111877805905 no names or anything, anyone any ideas on maker etc. ?

Probably early repros. I would stay away from them, unless the price is very low. Some suppliers are providing new ones that are supposed to be pretty good. Unfortunately, the cost to get them to the UK is probably outrageous.

Starting bid is £400 for the set, looks like nos. Costing me a lot of money to restore, def. won`t see it back but I`m not doing it for that, always wanted an "A", came a bit late in life. You can roughly convert dollars to GBP,s for importing.

NOS repros. The early repros were not much good. I had some on my car that looked just like this. I replaced with rebuilt originals and what a difference!

these are not original shocks
the base is crudely cast ,and is unlike originals bases
see the attachments for original cast bases look like
the "pie " pattern may differ from different makers,but its always a shallow pie impression
the cover may have the Houdaille pat numbers but does not say Houdaille
which all original shocks do have imprinted
these shocks havnt met their asking price and they are well over $500 us
pass on them
buy some rebuilt ones from someone like Robert Paul
i believe they are listed in the stickys at the front of the ford barn
forums
or ask here who is reccomended
the ebay shocks are not a good buy
they are complete unknowns
