Re: wide box

You could consider what I did on my huckster, bolt up regular pickup fenders and slice them in the middle and weld up to match the outside of the running board. I think regular fenders are about an inch too wide.

Hey john
They are not repo'd except fiberglass as I know
They can be made best by slicing and dicing sedan fenders.
Yep I know they are not easy to find too
Making them from coupe/roadster is much harder. I've tried both ways!

Re: wide box

I have an old Mack Products Catalogue which shows such steel fenders for the wide box.
Not sure if they still make them.
They are also known as Mack Hils Inc in Moberly Missouri

Good luck...

Hi John,
I have a few photos comparing a nos wide bed fender to an early take off coupe/roadster rear fender. Note the inner lip is larger than the coupe. Also the wide bed fender in 10" in with and the coupe is 12" in with. Also the inner/outer rear area below the rear mounting bracket is shaped diff.than coupe or sedan.
