Another unique V8 tool
 

Here's another V8 tool that was in my parts of unknown origin, no brand name, don't remember buying it. Pretty obvious what it does, but I don't think it's too necessary, it makes a nice collectible.
I added the timing device also in case someone missed it from a previous post. Also found this fire extinguisher two weeks ago in a large collection of 60's 70's 80's NOS parts

I assume that the first tool is used to check for correct fuel pump rod movement, correct?

I really like the fire extinguisher I looked for one like that a couple of years ago to use as the overflow for my radiator, didn't find one in time, ended up using ABS pipe.

Yes, the tool is to gauge the health or if you have the correct fuel pump rod. There is nothing on the unit that states which engine era it is designed for, I'm guessing 38-48 somewhere in there. In 40 years of flathead involvement, I've never seen another one. Does anyone have one with its original box and instructions?

KRW made a tool that appears nearly identical t0 this unit. They are handy if attempting to diagnose a fuel delivery issue.
