Your Ugly Coe, was probably an off spring of this company. It took Henry a few more years to make his own version.

Re: 1935 coe

How did the hood open? Was the hood in the floor?

Re: 1935 coe

Don't think it's a hood, believe it's an engine cover.

I agree, but if you zoom in on the ad that Don posted, it says hood.

That is one ugly truck. When Ford Motor Company released their first COE's for 1938, it was a much better looking vehicle.

Re: 1935 coe

Yep, it says flat floor over the engine. Maybe it has a hood arrangement on the front. Interesting, think the Ford design uses an engine cover with the engine higher in the cab.

This 1938 Ford COE belonging to alanwoodieman's friend is a much better looking truck. Ford got it right with this one.

Hi Everyone, Sorta train-wreck-ish. Can't stop looking at it and I don't know why.

It's hard to make that beautiful grill look bad.

Don Rodgers: Remember what your Mother said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". Great looking Truck, Fordlovr...

Re: 1935 coe

My first impression was beautiful but "bloody ugly". But when I look at one of these hitched to the trailer I take my initial view back (its just beautiful).

Now that is pretty and "brawny" looking too. I'd happy to drive that just as a tractor the other truck I would need to have the trailer hitched.
