Your Ugly Coe, was probably an off spring of this company. It took Henry a few more years to make his own version.

Re: 1935 coe Boy, that's a nice looking thing to laugh. ha ha ha Walt

not quite positive but I think a company called Dearborn line created those truck and that inspired Ford to make one starting in 1938--beautiful truck!! this was a friend of mine's 38 COE

Re: 1935 coe How did the hood open? Was the hood in the floor?
|
Re: 1935 coe Don't think it's a hood, believe it's an engine cover.

That is one ugly truck. When Ford Motor Company released their first COE's for 1938, it was a much better looking vehicle. |
Re: 1935 coe Yep, it says flat floor over the engine. Maybe it has a hood arrangement on the front. Interesting, think the Ford design uses an engine cover with the engine higher in the cab.

This 1938 Ford COE belonging to alanwoodieman's friend is a much better looking truck. Ford got it right with this one. |

It's hard to make that beautiful grill look bad. |
Re: 1935 coe Don Rodgers: Remember what your Mother said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". Great looking Truck, Fordlovr...

Wonder what build # was ? |
Re: 1935 coe My first impression was beautiful but "bloody ugly". But when I look at one of these hitched to the trailer I take my initial view back (its just beautiful).
