Model A and Model B engines like it hot? Do the Model A and Model B engines really like to run hot? I am asking this question because
Years ago when I was looking into putting a high efficiency water pump on my model B 1933 Someone on this board commented.. 4 cylinders like to run hot don't try to make them cooler! |

Or do you mean it's better to run them hotter than cooler? |
Re: Model A and Model B engines like it hot? They run hot mostly from bad radiators or wrong ignition timing.
Engines run better at 180 than 140, if that's what you mean. |
Re: Model A and Model B engines like it hot? Normally, with everything in good condition they run too cool. A thermostat is recommended by many of us.
