Stalls
 

New to me 1930 Model A. Cleaned and set the points. New plugs. New good gas. Set the timing by the book. Ran like a new one. After a few miles it started to miss then died. Strange thing she had been running at 170 deg. then droped to nere 0 when it died. Could not find anything wrong. Got it started again and she ran fine. A few more miles and started to miss and felt like three cylinders. Again temp dropped to 0.
Any ideas?

You posted this in the "To the Editors" section that nobody reads. Post again in the main forum. I can't explain the temperature but the other symptom might be that you have a non vented (or plugged) gas cap. Do you hear a little sucking if you take the cap off right after it dies? Does it start back up right away when you take the cap off?
