What is the best 6 volt flasher for a good strong flash? the one I have wants to flash so slow you would be turned before it flashes.

Thanks, Sure do enjoy all of the tips on this forum.

An old stock 535 [ if 3 prong] should work fine. New ones are pretty much junk.
What are you using for lights ? Have you tried using lower wattage/candle power bulbs in the front ?

That is, assuming the contacts/connections/grounds are all good.

More info would also be helpful.

A lot depends on the bulbs, Low wattage or LED slow or none. High wattage makes the flash go faster.

I would look for a solid state flasher, they don't care what kind of bulbs you have.
