This came with an A i bought years ago and forgot I still had it. Is it even for a Model A? I have never seen anything like it before.

A bent piece of strap metal with some holes in it. Never seen a Model A part like it. Rod

Could be random bracket to some luggage rack or just homemade scrap something. If you dont go to swap meets where you could bring it and sell for a buck id let it get made into beer cans...

Re: What is it??

If that is made of spring steel like the bumper brackets, it is used on some cars to mount the rear bumperettes.

Re: What is it??

I do believe it is spring steel. It has a very fancy clamp still on one end.

Maybe try the following site to see if you can match the bumperettes http://guidetovintagecartruckparts.c...s/bumperettes/

Re: What is it??

Save it to build brackets, etc. If it's spring steel, make you a SWORD!!
