When working in dealers shops, I've seen this done by traveling used car re-con guys, LOOKED PRIMO! Don't know about longevity?? Some of those guys are MASTERS at sprucing up cars, like the Ding Doctors, ones that restore HUGE plastic bumpers, rock chips, etc. They're MASTERS at MASKING & make Vinyl dashes/consoles, like NEW! One guy even jacked up a wheel, spun it & with a lathe type bit, turned a shallow area & laminated a thin WHITEWALL into it!! Whether it is your Model A or your Modern Iron, keep these types of CRAFTSMEN in mind. IF you can't locate one, talk to one of your LOCAL Used Car Dealers. When Vermin's finished, I'll have a MOBILE Detailer come my house & give him a WHIZ BANG job & my truck, also! Bill W. |

Re: Not Model A white Vinyl Interior Thanks for all the suggestions. One of them should work. Will let every one know what happens.

Re: Not Model A white Vinyl Interior If all else fails and its vinyl you can paint it white again with vinyl upholstery paint.

Re: Not Model A white Vinyl Interior Well I cleaned it. I wanted to try Bob,s Idea of Tuff Stuff. But could not find any around here. Will try that at a later date. Needed it clean for a grill 57 show.
I used the magic eraser, that helped but not what I wanted. So I used shampoo with a scrub brush, then the magic eraser. That worked real good, but not sure what it did to upholstery, if anything. Thanks for the help. |
