Heater Template - 1939 Ford Standard Tudor

Had a friend recently buy a 1939 Ford Standard Tudor and is wanting to install an original 1939 heater in the car. Does anyone have a template or measurements so he can install it correctly where it would have been from the factory?

The hot water heater? I got the Info from a thread here on the fordbarn . Search under 40 ford hot water heater. It uses the two throttle pedal mounting studs as a reference point to locate three bolt holes and 2 water pipe holes

These were a dealer installed "option". Believe they were fairly "loose" with the exact placement of the installation heater brackets. Hope someone else might have more info.

Yes a hot water heater. Thanks guys for the replies, keep them coming. I'll do that search, but understood the template for the 40 is different from the 39.

Stick, I don't have the template, but i can tell you there are two different ones, the later being a correction regarding the rubber hoses. The first calls for the hoses to end butted up against the firewall, the second has them going through the firewall up against the heater itself. The reason, apparently, is to prevent abrasion and vibration from the brass pipes on the steel firewall. The hose clamps are to remain outside the firewall as the first version has them.

The difference between early and late, was the entire pattern different or just larger holes for the water pipes to clear the hose?

It is the same drawing, same everything but for the notation with an arrow pointing to the hose going through the firewall, and the increased diameter of the hole to clear the hose.
