Cowl light wire routing 68c cabriolet
 

from bottom of steering box to lights ..how/where does wire go ? books do not show ? routing ?

Here are two figures from the Ford Service Bulletins page 329 and 411.

Keep in mind the diagram shows how to add the cowl lights to a vehicle that did not have factory cowl lights and it includes the installation of a switch A-13335 which is some what rare.

Thanks, looks like 1928-29 added lights..helps some but no cigar..where in front of firewall/cowl does wire enter cab ? 1931 cars

I am not sure of the 30-31, but on my 29 the wire enters the cab through the junction box.

The pictures that 160B shows are how mine are run. There is also a wire that crosses over to the right side for the RH cowl light. There are 3 "L" brackets that hold this wire.

Thanks all who replied ..the photos show it goooood..won't long before I put torso on the skeleton..my gantry crane arrived today 10" high and 10' wide.
