Dual exhaust 40 Ford

I want duals on my '40 and found Waldrens Exhaust on the net. Has anyone tried their Stainless steel kits? They look good in the pictures.

The routing tight spot is around the clutch/brake pedals and master cylinder on the drivers side.

Re: Dual exhaust 40 Ford

I put Waldron's stainless duals on my 39 Merc, pipe bends were very accurate on passenger side. However the pipe running past the pedal area was not usable due to bends that just weren't right. The driver side tailpipe was excellent. I did not care for the provided stainless mufflers, just sounded harsh.........understand that is subjective, another might love them. The local muffler shop who made a proper fitting replacement pipe in the pedals area also installed a pair of stainless Porter mufflers that I provided. If time were not an issue I believe the Waldron folks would have worked with me on that ill fitting pipe as they seemed like good folks but,........it's summer here in Wisconsin and I wanted to drive.
