Fitting for Zenith Carb fuel line

I would like to hook up a temporary test fuel line to a Zenith carb. I would like to stop at a hardware or auto parts store on my way home from work and pick up the male fitting. Would anyone know what the fitting size and type is?.

Bratton's calls it 1/2 - 20 threaded fitting, but I'm not sure of the size ferrule the line uses. I would remove an original line from the sediment bowl and turn it up, then slip a clear plastic fuel line over it.

Menards clear tubing has worked well for fuel for me.
