Shocks from BILL

I received a pair of front shacks from Bill Wzorek last week and got them on
the other day. These shocks replaced a FORD tube shock setup that was
on the truck. Congratulations Bill the ride is smooth and going over bumps and pot holes no longer produces any type of harsh chassis reactions or rattled bones.
Thanks Bill,
Charlie ny

Same here Charlie. Several years ago I installed a full set, (4) of Bill's rebuilds on my 35 fordor. After that it rode like a flathead powered Cadillac.

My 35 Coupe is "Bill Wzorek" shocked as well - handles the roads very well ... even at highway speeds with those big dips:D

Bill did the rear shocks on my '39 LZ (the front had been converted to tube shocks back in the '50's) now the LZ rides smooth and is much more sure footed on the road, thanks to Bill.

THANKS GUYS

It's guys like you that I keep making changes in the garage so I can do what I do.

Lee my #1 Girl in life & now my hands & #1 Girl in the garage.
Her job is to log in the shocks / Inspect them / Drain the oil / Clean them / set them up for Andy ( part time helper ) & 2nd pair of hands.
It's his job to take them apart & give Lee the parts to clean.
When clean Lee will then give me the parts to Inspect & decide what needs to be done with them.
Then together Andy & I do any machining that needs to be done ( Remember he is my 2nd pair of hands. )
Andy then assembles the shocks then back to Lee for final cleaning / Painting / then she boxes them & goes to the PO to mail them back to you.

So these are a few of the changes we have made to let me keep getting grease under my finger nail's.

P.S. Just a side note here : The last time I tried to change the tooling on the lathe I stood up at the lathe ( I'm very unstable standing ) I pulled on the 3/4" wrench the nut for me was very tight / well it suddenly relisted and I fell to the floor hitting my head on the floor. That being my 3rd fall in the garage Lee has put me on supervisory position "ONLY" and I take my new job very seriously & nothing is done with out me being there. { I tell her it's a " GUY " thing }

Re: Shocks from BILL

Just a bit off topic, but is there any preventive or otherwise maintenance to do to keep my (BillW) shocks working tip top?

Been on the car 5-6 yrs I think.

They made it ride way better!

PS, Bill, listen to your wife!

Re: Shocks from BILL

Just check oil level every 32 miles

Just check oil lever when ever you service the car

I tell people that the worst thing you can do to a Houdaille shock is let it run dry they will self destruct in just a few miles.
So if they have one that is weeping or a small leak as long as they keep oil level up they can wait till they park the car in the off season to pull them & send out for service

I also jump in. Bill did a set of shocks for the front of my never ending roadster project. Was set to install them and noticed one weeping. They were sitting on the shelf for about two years at this point. Said send them back for repair.

Can't beat that!
