Please help me identify this part 1 Attachment(s)
I have a 1930 Briggs Town sedan. This part has markings that resemble the backing of carpet. There is 1 rivet, which has a round head. The back of the rivet has multiple fingers, spread out to prevent removal. The part is 31" long, and 18 gage material.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank You. |
Re: Please help me identify this part To me it looks like the filler panels that goes below the rear window. It ties the window frame wood and the belt rail wood together. If I remember rightly.

John; thank you.
The rear window wood is fastened to the belt rail. This piece does not seem to fit there. Please see these pictures. |

Car as is now.

Re: Please help me identify this part I think it fits on the wood cross sill behind the front seat. I have the one that was on my 29 Briggs body before I got rid of it. (Needed way more money, time and space then I have)

Did it have carpet on it? |
Re: Please help me identify this part Looks like a door sill panel. (Not Model A)
Did YOU take it off the car? Or did it come in a box with the car? |

The mechanic had left the floor boards (front, rear and under the seat) without screws, so you could stand on the floor to put in the headliner. This was with the 2) floor pans. Thank you very much. |
