Looks nice but isn't your 'Rack' upside down? I thought the trunk was supposed to fit into the rack and the wood is supposed to face out when folded up?

How is the trunk attached? I know mine used to get all jiggly just using the straps before I secured it to the rack.

Looking good...

That's what I've heard too but I rather have my box on top of the runners than sitting down inside the frame. Keeps the bottom edges from sitting in dirt, mud and water.

I bolted it down with four 7/16 carriage bolts from the bottom, large washer, then a lock washer and the nut inside. It will have to be ripped off to come off.

I did something similar, two carriage bolts through the bottom and also attached to my spare. Here's to hoping I don't get a flat...

The garage is a story...I started with one 1950s pump and set it up next to my back porch, and then came this and then came that and one thing led to another, all wrapped around the 30s,40s and 50s gas station, with candy, coke, etc, and then came Sarah.....I want to say, she needed a proper home before I brought her home or any A. I'm all done now, nothing left to do but enjoyment both at home and on the road. Well, that's not entirely true, if you should happen to see this gal out and about, tell her, I'm looking for her to ride along.

I put a small remote controlled boom-box inside the rumble, on the floor, right behind the front seat that plays CDs from the late 20s to late 30s.

It was a toss-up between Texaco or Sinclair and I had a lot to read up on for both, what was post-war and what was pre-war. I chose Texaco.......

I thought I had some photos of the back porch but I must have deleted them. They are here on the forum...somewhere.

Heck, I wish the TAX was the same as back then.

You have a nice Model A and a VERY nice garage.

Yes, your trunk rack is upside down. Eventually, your trunk will vibrate the finish off the wood, and then begin digging into the wood itself.

My second wife was a ballet dancer and she had the best butt out of all of them, round, petite and firm but...........that's another story.

Only oil changes and grease jobs go on in the garage, anything else, I contract out. ;)

Great looking car and garage!

What kind of Visable Gas Pump is that? I think I have the same type. My theme is Standard Oil of California.

Mine is a Wayne...............no way I could afford a restored original so I got an exact copy, all steel, just missing the pump inside to work. There is some rip off retro sellers out there and a few who know what they are doing. Mine came from.....
http://www.gaspumpheaven.com/shop/home.php?cat=282

The pump, air meter and the quart glass oil bottles are all I have retro, the rest are original. I have a 1929 original Standard Oil crude oil container. I restored it but made it to be Texaco. You can see it in the second photo.
