Anyone know of a vendor/source of the pictured (red) manifold CLAMPS
I bought this set , years ago, from Reds Headers, but they do not have at this time.

Looks like a piece of angle iron with a hole in it to me. Make your own.

Hey Mitch,
Well, since no one knows of another source, I guess that I will have to do some metal work :) !

To me, that red looks garish and gaudy, right there. Powder coat might be the best for that look, though.
I think I'd try to make them from 304 stainless and then polish them.
Thanks for the ideas.
Good Luck:)

You could also just have them coated to match your exhaust?

If you cut them with the leg that goes over manifold flange a bit longer, you could then make a curved indent on a bench grinder that would locate against the tube there, keeping the things parallel to the world...this would make them look less improvised and more like an integral part of the motor. Current ones have that 5 minutes with a hacksaw and an old street sign look...

Hey Bruce,
Great ideas from all, thanks ! I like your 'custom' touch idea, and the polished stainless idea also.
Garish...maybe, but this is built for running hard, not for points. What gets points for me ....is cheap durability and functionality at same time :) !

Hm, I just happen to know a fordbarner close by who is a perfectionist and has a set of good hands, which is helpful, eh ;)

Almost forgot another PLUS....he doesn't drink beer :rolleyes:
