CRS Attack Trying to remember the name of the company that re-produces sections of Ford frames, particularly the most common heavily corroded sections. Anyone know who I'm talking about? All input greatly appreciated.

Re: CRS Attack Chassis Engineering isn't it?

Re: CRS Attack I know who you're talking about. I think they're out of the Boston area. Outside of that, I can't think of their name. I think maybe they had the word "coach" in their name, outside of that, I draw a blank.

Re: CRS Attack Is it Precision Coach?.....MARK

Re: CRS Attack "Precision Coachworks" out of Billerica, Massachusetts. There was a thread on the H.A.M.B. last year that said the owner had died. I think at that time there was no one to take over the operation and it closed up. It would bear further checking. They made great stuff, as I used a replacement front cross member on my old '36; it fit well and solved my problems. It is a great loss to the hobby if they're no longer around.

Re: CRS Attack Yep, Precision Coachwork's"... no longer in business.

Re: CRS Attack Dave Maher was the owner of Precision. I believe he passed-away February of last year. Reportedly, the business was sold to these folks. Click the link below. DD

Re: CRS Attack I thought PCW was bought by another company close by and is still going?
Edit: Coop ninja'ed me! |
Re: CRS Attack I have got the design for the outer kickup patch done, we have a source we work with who can laser cut and form... bottom line is we can do it but I would have to check pricing.
I also have on my to do list the frame body mounts and rear crossmember, hopefully by the end of summer. Unless someone else does them first. |
Re: CRS Attack I am sorry to hear about PCW owner dying and the business closing-they were a life saver for me.
