35 P.U,Bottom radiator hose fit 1 Attachment(s)
Have installed a 1946 59A engine in my 35 pickup and am in the process of connecting up the radiator and hoses. As you can see in the picture the bottom radiator outlet pipes are pointing upwards and not lined up with the openings on the 59A block. since the length of the hose will only be approx. 5" I,m concerned about this connection and leaks.
Has anyone experienced this problem ?. Thanks |
Re: 35 P.U,Bottom radiator hose fit Bend the hose. Maybe soak in hot water before trying. Shouldn't really be a problem.

Re: 35 P.U,Bottom radiator hose fit Otherwise make a ruff drawing of the curves needed and head to the parts store. You will be surprised how many modern hoses will be what you need -- all you have to do is cut off the part of the modern hose that you don't need.

Re: 35 P.U,Bottom radiator hose fit Similar set up in our '36 pickup. 59AB flattie fits snug but do-able. Sorry I had those hoses off about 5 years ago when I changed the water pump inner bolts to SS, don't recall the hose numbers and the truck is not home tonite will send them to you next time I get over to the garage PU is resting in:o
