Hey guys need a little help on disassembling the inside of my 29 tudor windshield frame.Thanks in advance. latecomer

Lay it down on a work bench, in the upper corners are 4ea #6? screws in both sides. Remove the screws, lift the top piece off, slide glass out. You will need a good screwdriver,and I like valve grinding compound on the tip. You may need oil,heat to get screws loose. Sorry CRS about the bottom, you see what's needed :-)

I think there is also another screw on each top corner, for a total of 3 per top corner. I like to soak them with Kroil then use a screwdriver with a nice flat tip.
Screwdrivers used as gasket scrapers don't qualify.

HOLLOW grinding the screwdriver tip helps, also.

I soaked mine for 3 weeks and couldn't get them to budge--ended up getting an impact driver from HF and one wack each them came right out, the glass was another story-----it came out in pieces.

Hey guys an other question on the 29 windshield,is the top hinge attached to the top section of the frame? thanks latecomer

The screws that are in the right and left top corners in the face of the windshield frame have nuts behind them,also the top hinge will come off the windshield frame if you soak it for about a year,just kidding!

Patience is the answer. Soak with your favorite soaker and tap the screws lightly with THE screwdriver that fits. Patience.

Check the top hinge and see if the ends are crimped over. Sometimes you have to straighten the end so you can slide the hinge off of the frame. Don't try to pry or roll it off the top. Soak it well and then use a wood block on the hinge parts and tap it off of the frame. Tap don't beat, as you'll damage the hinge.
