Work is taking me to Chicago this week. Any Model A activities here in the winter?

Not too much that I'm aware of Ed, most Model A's are still sleeping waiting for spring at this time of year. You will have just missed a nice swap meet that happened a couple weeks ago.

Naperville has a pretty active Model A Club that's about 25 miles west of downtown Chicago

this weekend looks like it will be beautiful outside at least! No more working on cars with 3 shirts coat and 2 layers of gloves on!

While I don't know of any activities, the Museum of Science and Industry at Lakeshore and 57th Street has a nice small collection of important automobiles as well as trains and airplanes-and whole lot of other neat things that you would probably like.

I'll be driving my Tudor here in Chicago, not really an event though lol. If you have time stop into Antique Engine Rebuilders in Skokie, specialists in Model A's. You are welcome to shoot me a PM if you are around-

The Naper A's are hosting a tech session in my garage (heated) from 8:30 'til noon on Saturday. Subject is the restoration of the transmission "shift tower". Refreshments, of course. PM for location which is close to the intersection of IL Rt. 59 and 75th Street west-southwest of Chicago.
