I need an identification on this rear floor pan please.
Fordor with wood sills?,..since the perimeter has nail holes..

Do you think the panel is for a model A? I have never seen a floor pan like the one in the picture.

It is a rear seat riser sheet metal the goes on top of the wooden cross member above the rear spring. It is nailed down on the the wooden seat riser. It also had a piece of canvas riveted to the sheet metal so the rear spring would not rub and squeak. The view that you have shown is looking up from the bottom of the car. It goes in 1929 Town Sedan or Fordor.

I intended to reply a couple days ago but just no time! Yes, all straight windshield Fordor bodies used a similar pan. My Fordor has a similar pan with the shallow hump for the cross member. Mine ('30 Briggs) however has all the ribs stamped upward, and parallel, running left to right.

Ronnie didn't show the top so only he can say if it indeed matches by the rib pattern. With that said, he is showing a Murray body so it certainly would explain the difference.

As a final note, I have never been able to find that particular item in the parts books which it unusual to say the least!
