Long Generator, bearing on brush end

I'm working on a friend's generator; the earlier "long" type with the bearing on the brush end.

The end plate came apart in a mess of pieces and the bearing was disintegrated. Can anyone tell me if any felts or spacers were used between the cap and the bearing and what order they went in. I don't have a schematic for that generator.

Here's a picture showing how the parts are assembled. The bottom picture is the rear bearing and you install the parts from right to left. The second from last part is the felt ring.

The top picture is the front bearing for all Model A long generators and you install the parts from left to right.

If my memory serve me correctly (don't count on it) I used a standard 6202rs bearing and the spring washer on the CE plate. It is however the short dbl BB generator.

It's a poor sort of memory that only works backwards.
