Very nice. Really makes you think. These pics are - the un- varnished view of America before the war. It looks like life was not a bowl of cherries then, and the War was just around the corner. Thanks for posting them

Seems like a million years ago when compared with today. I was born in 1943.
I fear that today's youth are missing an awful lot of meaningful "grass roots" history.
