3 groove pulley steel or aluminum

I need to have a 3 groove pulley made for my Paxton blower motor. Pros or cons on steel vs aluminum. Thanks Bill

A V belt grips the pulley because the sides expand as it bends around the pulley, alum pulleys wear quicker reducing the grip
