T5 clutch fork
 

I need help. I`m converting a 53 F100 flathead from the 3 speed to a T5. I have the Quick Time bellhousing and the long style 10" pressure plate. I`m having issues finding a clutch arm to fit right. Any suggestions? It`s a ford wc T5. It fits nice except for this issue. I plan on using the original clutch pedal and linkage.

What is a Quick Time bellhousing? Is that a brand name or a type, I have never heard of it?

It`s a brand/company. They make them to adapt just about anything. Look on Jegs or Summitt,Speedway also. It`s exactly the same depth as the original truck bellhousing on the 53 F100.

Man that is a high dollar sucker!! Sorry I'm not much help, all of my conversions are with the hogshead and adapter plates. Ol Ron might be able to help, believe he has done some T5 style conversions with the later clutch fork.

Lakewood scatter shield bell housings can be had at swap meets for $150.
That and a Chev flywheel is all you need. (Preferably aluminum)
Redrill the housing and it bolts directly to the 8ba block.
Redrill the flywheel and it bolts on. Use a Chev starter. Use any Chev clutch.
This conversion uses all Chev parts including the clutch fork and throwout bearing.
You are not limited to a T5 with this conversion. You can use almost any Tremec 5 or 6 speed also.
