Nice sign. I wonder if he built the building just so that he could install the sign?

Cool sign. Studebaker, way ahead of it's time.

I've wondered about the age of the building vs age of the sign too. I know it's been there 10 or so years.

In my experience, folks on the eastern prairie of Colorado don't usually just do stuff for show....

Were Gremlins Studebakers? I thought they were AMC's.

Not to get too far from Ford, but an old man next door had a Silverhawk, Goldenhawk, and Champ PU. Always wanted that PU!

The Gremlin was an American Motors car. Studebaker's failure was the Lark as it was trying to stay alive in the 60's.

That is true / but in my little corner of the works it seems like every 3rd car on the road was a Studebaker Lark  in that time frame. Very few Fords of the same year. :(

57 Commander big v8 power steering auto with air, Beautiful car, a comfortable ride.
The Larks must have had something going for them, they had thousands of them in Mexico for Taxicabs.
