radiator sides and top paint?
 

Ford a 1933 model B was this flat black or semigloss black?? Will rustoleum work in this application? Heat?

I use BBQ grill paint. Takes heat and sheen is just right.

great! while i am waiting for my timing wheel and green engine paint I will paint the radiator. Do you do anything with the fins?

It won't hurt to give the fins a bit of a squirt but don't overdo it as you want to cool that engine.

........meaning that the more paint (thickness) you apply to the cooling fins, the more it will hinder heat transfer (cooling) to the air. DD

Did you use the Valspar black which is a satin like finish...
Rustoeum high temp is a flat black that is almost gray.

There is a Radiator black that has adhesion properties in it ,about 50% gloss .Not sure were you would get it on your side of the pond

Another option would be to take your radiator to a radiator repair shop and have them paint the fins. If they want to charge very much you have gone to the wrong shop.
