Briggs or Murray

Were the Slant windshield four door models either a Murray or Briggs body style? What distinguished either a Briggs or Murray? Afordman31

Re: Briggs or Murray

Murray, Briggs, and Ford built the S/W Fordors and parts were supposed to be interchangeable.

The doors are not the windows on the doors Briggs is a box shape. Murrays have a ark on the top of the windows.

That's true until the slant Fordors came into production, then all 3 makers built them with the curved top on the windows.

Thank you Charles, I tried to do the search application first but to no avail. Your link to the previous thread on the subject is very informative. Appreciate your input and from others on the Ford Barn. I am always quoting what I have learned from this site. Thank you Afordman31

You are welcome, Afordman31. The Ford Barn search leaves a lot to be desired. I remembered that past thread but actually found it with a Yahoo search.
