Tudor Wheel Well Repair

Did this one over the summer ..

Back story ... this car has been in its family since new . Grandparents owned it then customers father now him . He learned to drive on it etc . But for some reason it now has a new home :eek::eek:

Another shop put the wheel wells in .... suddenly the fenders didnt fit in the back . so my job was to correct the mess .

of course they were welded fully and not the usual 1 weld every 6 inch routine . alot of hours carefully grinding weld out

and a subframe mess he didnt want addressed .

Nice work;

This job would have been a lot easier if you had gotten the car before the other shop had worked on it.

Perfect work as usual Flop. :) I am liking that 47 :cool: Still got the 216 in it or :confused: I have 3 old chevs with the original 6's. That sedan looks nice also.

Thank you for sharing. It serves as a graphic reminder why buying a car sight unseen based on shiny paint alone can horribly backfire. The little subframe mess means to me taking the body off the frame and starting with the basics. Very frustrating for a new Model A owner. It's nice to have a solid and cancer free foundation when entering the hobby.
