Rims Is there a online shop where I can order rims for my model a?
Don't have to be wire wheels. grtz |
Re: Rims Most of the vendors sell the correct new wire wheels, as does Coker tire.

Re: Rims All kinds of rims will bolt to the Model A. Used rims should be easy to find. The new Model A rims are very true and well balanced and are of great quality. The down side is that they are costly, over $300 each.

Re: Rims Full size Ford truck wheels use to fit, probably still will. Berts in denver has good used model A wheels that I would rather have any day compared to the expensive new repro wheels. I have used both. Call Berts, tuesday through saturday at noon. 800-321-1931

Re: Rims Remember if you use late model solid rims with mechanical brakes ('40-'48 Ford among others) you will probably need adapters. The bolt pattern is the same but the early wire wheels and brake hubs/drums are actually at 2 levels. See: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/t.../#post-8330045
